Another learning of mine - September 24, 2008

I had to admit that I'm in such a comfort zone these days until I did not really study the bible. And then today, God Himself touch me and talk to me through His word, He is so real.

John 6:60~69
60On hearing it, many of his disciples said, "This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?"

61Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, "Does this offend you? 62What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. 64Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. 65He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him."

66From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve.

68Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

From these scriptures I learn a lot and my eyes was open in this afternoon. Suddenly 2 pictures came out from my mind.

I saw a man dry up very quickly who did not stay close to his source.
I saw a group of people who loves God very much in the outside but they're so dry inside.

I have to say this, the man, is me. Yes, it's me. These days when I felt I did not stay clock with my source of life, I do felt my spirit is dry up, really dry up. Until a situation felt like myself is in a desert, looking for a spring. But today Jesus spoke to me via His word, He tells me that live in flesh is count for nothing! And the word Jesus spoke to me, is spirit, is life! And here, Jesus also repeated again that walking in to the gate of heaven, it is a must to have a permission or sort to say enabled by The Father. But in what kind of situation only we are enabled? Which is, a close relationship with God, and we are enabled! Just that simple! As we always heard a slogan which says: There is no relationship between the relationship had nothing to do with the relationship between. (有关系就没有关系，没有关系就有关系) Amen ?

And I doesn't want to simply explain the second picture I saw. But I do have a feeling which is Jesus really wants to say to His people, "Is the word of the Lord offended you? Is it really that difficult to understand or is it really unacceptable for you?" I think we do really have to self-examination. Do we have this feeling sometimes? A feeling which hurt Jesus Christ? We know Jesus always had a great love and mercy on us, but did we hurt Him? Did we grumbling about what Jesus thought us? Well, of course I'm not trying to say we are bad until like this....but at least what I know is, GA Youth, including myself, still have a bigger dimention to improve and know more in the word of God, and this is a positive, ain't negative. Praise God for this!
